To all Supporters, Players, Members, Family and Friends of Attenborough Cricket Club

Firstly, I hope this message finds you well, and ready for the 2023 Season. As most of you will know, we are a community club and not-for-profit, so all funds and monies raised are for the benefit of the Cricket Club. We are supported by a fabulous group of volunteers, who make the Club run seamlessly.

We need your help with the following fund raising activities, which are open to everybody;

150 Club

This year we will still be running 12 monthly draws, but the timing has changed; there will be 2 in each of May, June, July and August, during the season, 1 in each of September, October, November and December, and then the bumper Xmas draw at the pre-Christmas event in the Clubhouse. If you are an existing number holder, please renew your numbers for 2023 now and contact us on attenboroughcc.fundraising@gmail.com to confirm that you want to renew your numbers, and how you would like to pay. Each 150 Club number costs £20.00. Can we ask that if you are paying for numbers on behalf of someone else, that you let us know, so we can cross check. Payment instructions are at the bottom of this message.

The First Prize in each monthly draw is £40.00 and the Second Prize £20.00, with big prizes in the Christmas draw of £500, £200 and £50.

These numbers make a great gift as you can purchase a number for family members. Gift Certificates can be emailed with the number and recipients name on – If you would like to join the 150 Club, and or would like to gift a number, please drop Phaedra an email on attenboroughcc.fundraising@gmail.com

Vice Presidents (VP’s)

This is a nice way for non-players to support the Club, and become Members for the year, which allows access to the bar, and all of the Club events. Sponsorship

Our lead sponsor, who sponsors all of the male adult team shirts, is available at time of writing. We are interested in discussing what we can do to add value for a sponsor, and establish a relationship that will run over a number of years. If anyone would like to chat about this, please just make contact.

For 2023 the Women’s teams, the Starlings, have shirt sponsor as do the U19 team.

We also seek a wide range of “Club” sponsors, and hope for 12-15 each year. You’ve probably seen the banners at the ground during the season, and it’s a good way to connect your business with the local community. We offer the following package;

Sponsorship Package

· Banner at Ground (8ft x 3ft)

· Logo on website www.attenborough-cc.org

· Ad in the Fixture List, printed and distributed to all members, and League Clubs

· Brand name or logo, on the website – ticker-tape style

· Space for your literature in our “Sponsor’s Corner” in the Clubhouse

· Annual membership giving access to the Bar and facilities

Annual Cost for all of the above – £250
