The annual “Club Day” is being held on Sunday 9th July this year showcasing cricketers from our youngest to senior players throughout the day & providing an opportunity for all members of the club to come & enjoy  the cricket & family friendly atmosphere at The Strand.

The tuck shop will be open as always, hot snack food will be available from 12 noon including the ever popular Samosas !! & the bar will be open from 1pm.

Your Club Needs You !!

We are also planning to have a “cake stall” therefore I am asking members (including players) to bake (or donate) a cake, buns, tray bake etc for this…….. remember the Secret Family Sponge recipe !!

We are looking for volunteers to help Shirley & Marie on the food counter & also to sell the cakes on the cake stall so if you can spare 30 minutes or an hour on the day it would be greatly appreciated.

If you can help with any of the above please email me at attenboroughcc.secretary@gmail.com letting me know if you can provide a cake or at what time you could be available to help on the food counter or cake stall. I would expect volunteers will be needed to cover 12 pm – approx 5pm (or when the food & cakes run out) – the more volunteers the more fun & easier for everyone.

Finally there will be a cricket bat raffle which has proved very popular over the last few years !!

The Programme for the day is expected to be as follows :-

10am – Under 10s / Under 11s cricket activities
12 noon – Starlings cricket
2pm – Under 12s / Under 13s inter-club tournament
4pm – Senior Men’s cricket match
